"Out of Exile" is the second album by the new age rock band Audioslave. Audioslave is a combination of two popular rock bands form the 1990s, Soundgarden and Rage Against The Machine. Three members of Audioslave are former Rage members. Tom Morello plays the guitar, Tim Commerford plays bass and Brad Wilk is on the drums. Chris Cornell, from Soundgarden, replaces Zack de la Rocha as the lead vocalist.
Audioslave's first album, self titled Audioslave, was a big hit with Rage Against the Machine and Soundgarden fans. The second album, "Out of Exile" is doing better than the first. With twelve tracks and a variety of music types it appeals to many diiferent people. Songs like Your Time Has Come, Out of Exile, ans Man or Animal, have a heavier sound; like from Rage Against the Machine. Be Yourself, Doesn't Remind Me and Dandelion have a calmer, Soundgarden sound. Be Yourself and Doesn't Remind Me are my two favorite songs from the album. The Worm has a classic rock sound. The remaining tracks, Drown Me Slowly, Heavens Dead, #1 Zero, and The Curse have a new different sound. The new sound is the band coming together and finding its own style.
